Hello, I am a just considering purchasing the current version but before I do, was wondering if there was any estimate as to when the next paid version will be available?  Hate to buy current version and a new version comes out soon.  I realize an exact date not likely available, but just general timeframe.  Thanks for any info.

If we believe the promises of Canva/Serif, then in 2025, export to epub should be released as a free update. And this will probably be version 2.7. It will probably be released in the middle or end of the year.  Therefore, version 3 or 2.8 may be released after that. This is my guess based on the statements made and the course of the development of new versions.

Going on the timescale between v1 and v2, and the speed of development generally, I doubt if we will see v3 this year!

Acer XC-895 : Windows 11 Home Core i5-10400 Hexa-core 2.90 GHz :  32GB RAM : Intel UHD Graphics 630 –
Affinity Publisher 2 : Affinity Photo 2 : Affinity Designer 2 : (latest release versions) – Also all apps on 12.9" (Second Generation) iPad Pro, OS Version 17.7.5
Old Lenovo laptop : Windows 10 - v1 and latest beta versions of all Affinity apps – Ancient Toshiba laptop: Vista - PagePlus X9, DrawPlus X8, PhotoPlus X8 etc

Thanks everyone, seems like I might be safe to assume at least a year or so away.  Appreciate the quick feedback as I just wanted to make sure it wasn't slated to drop soon.

Is there a roadmap available where we can track the expected implementation of epub export? This would make Publisher a viable alternative to Vellum, and indie authors everywhere would rejoice for having a non-Mac epub formatting solution.
