jonathane40
Hi, has anyone been able to use Affinity Photo to effectively reduce the grain from a 35mm film scan? I am taking photos of the negatives with my digital camera and inverting the Black and White curves. Then when I use noise reduction on Affinity Photos, it does not have any impact on the film grain. This makes sense since the photos have almost no digital noise since I am using a flash to light the film and shooting the digital camera ta 100 ISO. I have tried the same with Lightroom and Capture One with the same results. Has anyone figured out a way to reduce film grain using Affinity Photo? Thanks! Staff Lee D Posted August 3, 2016 Staff Share Posted August 3, 2016 Hi jonathane40, Have you tried using the noise reduction with the Extreme option enabled?
