JustMeTrying Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Hey All, This is regarding filling different shapes with an image at a consistent scale. I saw a post where someone came up with the brilliant idea of creating your pattern into an asset and then, with the "insert inside the selection" option chosen, they can drag the pattern/asset into the curve/shape to fill it at a predetermined scale (something bitmap fill cannot do). What I'm wondering is, is there a way to do this to multiple curves at once? Each time I try, it ends up reverting the selection to one curve and only filling that one. Anyone have a trick? Thanks! Added a video of an example of what is happening. Assets.mov Quote
lepr Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Multi-select the objects to be filled. Drag and drop the asset onto the Fill well of the Colour Panel or the Fill well of the vertical Tools bar. Quote

JustMeTrying Posted January 10 Author Posted January 10 I've decided to use symbols instead, there is still no way to do it all at once, but at least with a symbol going forward I can just modify the symbol to change the fill. I really wish there was a way to just apply this to every single curve selected. Its so odd that there are so many great things about affinity but the basic things are so difficult to do. Quote
