BASIC INFO

  • App & version: Publisher 2.5.7
  • OS & version: Windows 11 (up-to-date)
  • Graphic card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 (up-to-date)
  • Hardware acceleration: On & Off
  • Reproducibility: Always
  • Affects new document?: Yes

WHAT HAS HAPPENED
A float document, while text editing, doesn't return focus to main-app when minimized and anything you to write will be added to the minimized text frame.

WHAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED
Main app window should be active instead and not be able to write on a minimized window actively.

MINIMAL STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Open Publisher
  2. Create a new document with a text frame active to edit.
  3. Create another document with a text frame active to edit.
  4. Make one of the documents float.
  5. Minimize the float document.
  6. Start writing (the text will be wrongly added to the minimized float-document text frame)

BUG
Minimized window doesn't return active state to main app. Probably related to this bug.
