Weird white box showing up when I create a new doc. As well, weird again, when I open a file that has been created before, not all of the background shows. I quit, I've restarted my computer, to no avail.

I am using Publisher Beta 2.6.0 on a MacBook M4 Max running OS 15.2. This just started recently but can't say exactly when.

I've attached two screenshots to show what I am seeing.

Has anyone seen this before and know how to fix it?

Try off HW Acceleration in application preferences.

Have you been using Affinity with an external monitor? Does this issue still occur after relaunching Affinity?

I will check the HW acceleration but doubt it’s that. I’ve never touched that. I do use an external monitor but have been using the same one for quite a while. While I do have a new Mac, this problem was sporadic with my older MacBook Pro nut only recently

If the issue occurs in a Beta version only you should post your report in the separate Beta forum, not here in the general questions for retail versions.

What app version was used when it happened on your older mac?

There is/was a known bug with such a visual appearance of a partially visible layout/page white. You could unplug the second monitor to see if the issue still occurs after an Affinity relaunch. For easier switching between various monitor/screen setups it may help to use the option of saved Studio Presets.

So, I followed the suggestion of turning on "Use only integrated GPU" and after restarting--same problem. Just saw the new beta upgrade, installed it, same problem. However, once I deselected "Use only integrated GPU", it appears now that the problem is fixed. I'll report back if that turns out not to be true but looks like problem is solved. Thank you everyone for your helping me work through this! It is greatly appreciated!
