Hello,

We have a issue that has gone on since Mid-December.  When logging into Designer, or any other Affinity Desktop App, with a Canva for Education account we are now getting an error message more often then not: There was a problem communicating with the server.

See screen shot attached.  Since it is intermittent can you provide me with server names, IP addresses and ports that need to be open on our firewall?  Although I do not believe this is a firewall issue as it is also happening for our users when they are on their own home networks as well.

Please help as we are using this software for our school's yearbook and would need to pivot to Adobe if this can not be resolved.

Thanks,

Rick

Thank you Lee for responding.  Yes I had those open.  We are now working as the issue was with the client security on the firewall applications whitelist on the devices.  Whitelisting c:\program files\affinity folders resolved the issue.
