Hi Everyone,

I have 3 photos, A, B and C.

A has an image (smoke) to the left, B has an image in the middle and C has an image to the right.

I want to place A, then put B on top of it, so that part of B's image obscures a little of A's. Then place C on top of the lot, so that C's image just obscures the left had side of B.

I have Affinity 2, all I seem to be able to do is blend them so there is a ghostly image of all 3 on the final result.

Is what I want to do even possible? If so does anyone know how I can achieve it?

Thanking you all in advance.

Hi @JenOM-1 and welcome to the forums.

It is difficult to make a recommendation without seeing the 3 images.
What comes to my mind spontaneously is to mask out or delete the parts of the picture that are not wanted.

Hello @JenOM-1,

I support @Komatös' advice, look into masks. There is a good basic tutorial on YouTube (by Affinity) that should you get starting:

Here are Images A, B and C, if that helps...

Set the image B to the bottom, for image A and C use the blendmode to 'Screen'.
