Steve Gait Posted January 5 Posted January 5 I've had DrawPlus X5, PhotoPlus X5-X7, Daisy Trail for years, but stopped using them in 2015, as I fell out with photography [mainly due to memory loss after heart attacks]. Now I'm trying to access Serif and find not only can I not use them but no longer in my laptop, so must have deleted at some stage. Affinity fails to recognize my Serif email address or my saved password. I assume these have now gone the way of ADOBE, PhotoShop / LightRoom etc., forcing more out of my UK pension Quote
Staff StevenS Posted January 6 Staff Posted January 6 Hi @Steve Gait, Thanks for reaching out. The Serif legacy product line has now been discontinued, in addition the old Serif customer database has been shutdown and no longer accessible. Some common questions have been answered through the link below, however further support is no longer available. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/164377-information-about-the-legacy-plus-range/ Quote Any spelling or grammatical errors found in the above post are deliberate and included to boost the self-esteem of those who spot them.
Alfred Posted January 6 Posted January 6 1 hour ago, StevenS said: further support is no longer available Official support is no longer available from Serif, but (as noted in the linked thread) you can reach out to members of an independent forum for help with any issues that you encounter. DaisyTrail, including the DaisyTrail Shop, was closed down some time before the more general CommunityPlus support site disappeared off the scene, so there’s no way to retrieve any purchased kits that you didn’t back up. Steve Gait Posted February 20 Author Posted February 20 (edited) @StevenS @Alfred Thanks for your replies, however as I say I can no longer afford the software at the prices Like the Adobe that I can no longer use, unless I sell a kidney I'll be uninstalling it. I had purchased add-ons to work with my photo files, but as this has to go, at least I'm saving some of the memory' Tara 🥵 Edited February 20 by Steve Gait Quote

All you said when you created this thread is that you no longer have the ‘Plus’ products (including CraftArtist) installed on your laptop. As I mentioned in my previous post: On 1/6/2025 at 12:17 PM, Alfred said: there’s no way to retrieve any purchased kits that you didn’t back up However, the original installers and product keys still work (even on Windows 11, or so I’m told). 7 hours ago, Steve Gait said: Tara 🥵 I presume that’s like “Tata” or “Cheerio”, rather than an indication that you wish to be known henceforth as Tara instead of Steve!
