Daxx Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Feature Request: Direct Selection in Affinity Designer. This tool gives the user the ability to select a single or multiple objects within a clipping mask or a group. It can be a real time saver by bypassing the need to ungroup or unmask objects. Quote
fde101 Posted January 7 Posted January 7 On the Mac, when using the move tool, you can do this by command-clicking on the object you want to select. I'm not sure what the Windows key equivalent is offhand, but I do see that this is missing from the help bar across the bottom of the window, so perhaps it should be added? Quote

Latens Posted January 7 Posted January 7 For windows it's ctrl+click to select an object on the canvas within a group. It's ctrl+shift+click to select multiple objects on the canvas within a group. If you first ctrl+click an object within the group on the canvas and then just click another it will select it without the modifier. fde101 and carl123 2 Quote .
