I have a style set for my document which uses justified text. Then I have one based on the normal which basically just makes the text bold for bible verses. Most of the time, if a passage doesn't fill the whole line, it just leaves empty space as expected, but every so often I end up with very spaced out words or letters and I am not sure what is causing this behavior.

This is working as expected:

This is not:

Before, I had words that would spread out, but I managed to get them displayed properly. Now I have these letters.

The quote character settings are:

Default paragraph font: (character setting)

Normal paragraph style:

So Im not sure why it works on some paragraphs but gets messed up on others.

It doesn't look like a style setting, but rather there seems to be a manual line break between judgement." and (John… .

Activate "Show Special Characters" in the menu "Text" with deactivated "Preview" mode to get line and paragraph break characters displayed.Bildschirmfoto2025-01-03um04_41_39.jpg.39829ad92b80c826b02f7b2821bbdd77.jpg

thanks, that has fixed the issue on all the paragraphs that had that problem.  One of those things I would have never figured out myself
