Affinity Photo v1 Ipad - Levels Adjustment Darken Or Whiten Adjustment?

I follow the steps on this video;

She tries to make the dress color black and white without losing the details.

 

So she adds Levels adjustment.

 

She does not have Darken And Whiten option but I have on Ipad version. (At 4:00)

 

Which One and settings should I choose for 

 

A) White Dress

B) Black Dress

Neither. Those are Presets for a Levels Adjustment.

Just leave the pull-down set to Adjustments in the Adjustments panel, so you get a default Levels adjustment rather than one of the Presets, and do it like she did in the video.

If I don’t choose neither of them no layer is created. So the effect is not applied.

 

Or I do not understand how to apply the adjustment layer effect.

@Mainecoon364 Hopefully you managed to apply the Layers adjustment based on @walt.farrell advice.

If not, see the screenshot below, make sure that the menu at the top is set to Adjustments. Then scroll until you see the Levels adjustment and tap to add, you'll then see the adjustments options at the bottom of the screen.
