wswhiting Posted January 2 Posted January 2 I followed a greeting card tutorial by Robin Whalley on YouTube to create a template. I printed the first two cards okay on my Epson 8550, but then when creating a new card the image prints over the fold of the 5x7 card even though the print preview shows the image at the bottom of the page. Am I doing something wrong with the guides? Quote
walt.farrell Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Welcome to the Affinity forums. Without seeing your actual file, or at least screenshots showing the design, and seeing the Print dialog, it will be difficult to say anything meaningful, I think. Also, perhaps your printer simply mis-fed on that one? Does reprinting it help? What does a good print look like (front and back, please)? wswhiting Posted January 3 Author Posted January 3 Thanks Walt for your reply. I think I figured it out. Once I changed the size of the file to A5 (5x7 inches), it printed okay. The size of the whole sheet of paper for a 5x7 print is actually 7x10. Once I realized that, the image fell to below the fold. In the future when I have questions, I will include some screenshots. Thanks again. Quote
PaulEC Posted January 3 Posted January 3 6 minutes ago, wswhiting said: A5 (5x7 inches) I don't know if this is just a choice in your printer settings, but A5 is actually slightly bigger than 5x7 inches, which obviously makes a difference when positioning an image on the sheet.
