I had purchased Affinity version 1.4.3 Mac version updated in September 2016. Will I have to buy the latest version or will it be upgraded for free? If one has to pay for upgrade what will be the prices? If the upgrade is free how to update with latest version?

Looking at the new version window there is not option for upgrade it is just showing buying option for the same price I bought 1.4x version.

The 1.5 update is free as will 1.6, 1.7 etc.

Hi LocNetMonster,

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

If you are trying to download the Affinity Photo Public Beta for Windows it's not available anymore because the program was already released ad the public Beta phase has ended.

Currently there's isn't a trial available yet. We are still fixing a few remaining issues discovered after the release before making the trial available, but it should be out soon.

Hi MEB.

I paid for the full version. When I open Affinity Photo for Windows a message appears that says a new version is available with the options 'OK' or 'Download'. When I click download it takes me to a page that gives me the option to download version 1.5.1.

I was able to download it today. But now you have given me a moment to pause before installing it. Is this a valid upgrade?
