Harrington Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Hello Everyone! Happy New Year! I am finally ready to upload this book project you've all been helping me with and I would like to rename the book. Somehow "Book Try 1 B" just doesn't have the same ring to it as a proper title for the printer. I haven't seen how to do that in Affinity Publisher 2. Any ideas? Harrington Quote
Harrington Posted December 31, 2024 Author Posted December 31, 2024 Forgot to mention that, of course, I know how to rename a regular file, but rumor has it that book files are really sensitive to any changes and I can't lose this darn book! Color me paranoid! Quote
Oufti Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Close the book, quit Affinity and rename the file with the OS file explorer/finder. All should be well. Harrington Posted December 31, 2024 Author Posted December 31, 2024 Thank you, thank you, Oufti! I will do that immediately. May you have a prosperous and peaceful new year. Oufti 1 Quote

Harrington Posted December 31, 2024 Author Posted December 31, 2024 Hey Ldina! Thanks for the Up Vote! My Boy Tucker just wants this thing to be over so we can go back to daily walks and so Mom isn't so grouchy all the time! Happy New Year! Ldina, Twolane and Art3LT 3 Quote
Twolane Posted January 1 Posted January 1 It looks to me like Good Boy Tucker is waiting for a treat. Either that, or he wants you to get it over with as well so he can have more attention and treats. Happy New Year! However, though that will change the external name of the file, it may be wise to look in the Fields panel within Publisher and make sure the document title is set properly there, too.
