sansnom Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 Hi, here is a new series of HD visuals (5120 x 2880 px) with the cover of some famous musical instruments from the 80s-90s, a prosperous and very productive period for musical synthesis… Once again, sorry for the degraded quality of the visuals on this website (loss of contrast and desaturation of colors). dannyg9 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 They're all brilliant and some bring back a lot of memories! Quote
Catshill Posted January 3 Posted January 3 I am showing my age, I was looking for the EMS VCS3 which I used in the 70s. Quote
Kasper-V Posted January 3 Posted January 3 I'm a 99% acoustic guitarist (I still have tape recorders!) but I've always been fascinated by anything with knobs, switches and dials. You've made a fantastic job of these devices, and I'd never be able to keep my fingers off them if they were physically present. Quote
sansnom Posted January 3 Author Posted January 3 Hi, I too have always been passionate and intrigued by these machines. In the 70s, I looked with envy at Vangelis, Jean-Michel Jarre, Keith Emerson or Rick Wakeman in front of the multitude of synthesizer keyboards in front of them!… And how many hours spent in music stores (Paris region) touching these wonders!… I am not sure that today brands like Behringer produce machines as great and durable over time as back then… But hey… Here is one last exceptional machine, perhaps the most fantastic (with the Mini Moog and the GX1 Yamaha)… in homage to Vangelis (Blade Runner) who left us almost two years ago: all my idols, relentlessly, are leaving… Kasper-V 1 Quote — Mac Mini M2 Pro - 16Go - 512 Go – macOS Sonoma 14.7.2 – BenQ PD2700U UHD 4K —
