GregoryOR Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 I had some game boards I designed for print, and saved a copy of the document to create digital versions. I changed the Units from inches to pixels, changed the DPI from 300 to 72, and changed the dimensions so that everything would stay the same size. Worked perfectly, except all my text was not visible. I had to go into each text box, click on the PT value, and hit the enter key for it to show up. I didn't change any values, but just by effectively re-entering the same value, it displayed the text correctly. In prepping for this bug report, I saved the file and reopened, and all the text, including the stuff I hadn't fixed, displayed perfectly. So it seems that whatever "display text" function is triggered by loading a document or entering a font size value, is not being triggered by the changes in document setup. Attached are two screenshots. The first with the top board fixed, but the bottom board showing the lack of displayed text, and the 2nd showing the correctly displayed text after closing and re-opening. MikeTO Posted December 30, 2024 Posted December 30, 2024 If you changed the dimensions, did you set Scaling > Position to Rescale in Document Setup? That will scale the text with the change to the page size. GregoryOR Posted December 30, 2024 Author Posted December 30, 2024 Text scaled correctly. It just wasn't showing up. Saving and reopening makes all the text show up, and I need to make no adjustments to positioning or scale. Quote
