Mainecoon364 Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 I follow the steps on the video. I’m at 1:18 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVhl_tI7Gq8&t=78s I isolate the dress of the girl in the photo. I select mask in the output part on the context bar while applying. Then add HSL Adjustment. In HSL Adjustment sliders I choose the red color And select red color in the hue slider. However the dress does not look like red. Look at my screenshot please. Why? How can I fix It? Quote

There is no red color in the source image, so a HSL adjustment will change nothing. The source image seems yellow-ish. so you may need to choose about 40 on the hue shift. Affinity Rat Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 Instead of hsl, adjust filter use. recolour Quote
Mainecoon364 Posted January 2 Author Posted January 2 Yes, I desaturated the image too much. So I could not make It red. Thanks for the answers. Quote
carl123 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Here's a way to apply an exact colour (i.e. from a swatch) to the dress without using HSL. Hopefully all steps are doable on an iPad Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Mainecoon364 Posted January 2 Author Posted January 2 I had studied that too However I’ll revisit. Thanks again. Quote
