Red box around personas? I'm new please be patient

I literally just opened a beginner book to learn affinity photo 2   It gives me sample photos to play around with and learn.  The first thing it mentions are personas.  Ok I get it. but the book says click inside the red box to set to icons and text.   I do not have a "red box" around the personas.  

Like I said I'm so very new.

It is not clear what "beginner book" you mean. Are you maybe talking about one of the help topics, something in the status bar, a tooltip, or something else?

If none of those, what is the name and/or source of this book?

Just a possibility, but I wonder if the "red box" is just in an illustration in your book, not in the software itself. Right clicking on the Toolbar where you see the Personas will give an option to display the icons and text labels (rather than just icons) which may help until you are familiar with what the icons mean.

I think you are right about that. I misread "to set to icons and text" in the OP as "to set icons and text" so I assumed it had something to do with a tool, tooltip, etc.
