PrivacyFirst Posted December 27, 2024 Posted December 27, 2024 How would one go about joining the ends of one curve to part of the line of another curve? So that I can use the fill tool.. Quote
Affinity Rat Posted December 28, 2024 Posted December 28, 2024 I dont think what you want to do is possible, it appears the join command is limited to endpoints. If you had two closed curves you could add them together, using geometry add, then could fill. From help, no mention of end points, so I dont know. Quote

That’s correct. A node can only be connected to one or two curve segments, so you can only join open curves. 56 minutes ago, Affinity Rat said: If you had two closed curves you could add them together, using geometry add, then could fill. If you do that, you lose the line where the two shapes overlap. In the present example you could simply move the circle to the top of the layer stack so that it covers the endpoints of the two open curves. Instead of using the Fill Tool, go to the Colour panel and apply a fill colour.
