Is it possible for you to provide us with the file here and describe which areas of the image you would like to have separated? We can then give you more precise tips on which tools will produce the best results. thomaso Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 To "extract layers" from a JPG in AD, you create selections of the desired areas ("aspects") and duplicate them with cmd/ctrl-J to edit the corresponding area individually. Depending on the desired image content, either a vector selection drawn with AD's Pen Tool & used as a mask, or a pixel selection created with the various Selection Tools in AD's Pixel Persona is more suitable.
