I have version 2, but hate the interface so use V1 all the time, yesterday I reluctantly updated my iPad ios to the latest version 18.2, and immediately had problems. See pic of brushes. Selections are irregular shapes. Version 1 has been misbehaving for months, tears when using the eraser, slow saving files et al, and I suspected ios as the problem, this latest update definitely confirmed it. Apple have killed the legacy app.

An alternative possibility regarding this issue,  it is not Apples fault, but rather Serif devs are bending the rules of memory accessibility to enhance performance, or some other programming shortcut that is no longer supported.

Apple will blame Serif, Serif will blame Apple, who cares! users are losers! It just par for the game.

Just get a Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16 - i7 512 GB has its own os, no need for usb or wireless connectivity.

That’s bad.

I note that you had said v2 version does not have this bug.

Thanks for the answer.

I hope devs find a solution.

I'm not sure the problem you described, and the Brushes panel issue that @Affinity Rat mentioned, are related.

For your problem: As V1 is not being developed or enhanced any more, I don't see a solution other than being more careful where you touch the screen. Or, perhaps, setting the application option "touch for gestures only", and using the Apple Pencil to work with the tools.

Question 1) Where is that “touch for gestures only” setting? I couldn’t find It on Settings (Gear Icon most above right)

Question 2) What setting do you suggest there what does that do?

Sorry, but I don't understand your Question 2.
