Hello,

thanks in advance for looking into the problem described below:

  1. What Application are you using? Designer 2 on iPad Pro (12.9-inch) (4th generation)
  2. Are you using the latest release version? Yes, 2.5.7.2948
  3. Can you reproduce it? Yes
  4. Does it happen for a new document? Yes
  5. Description of the problem:
  •    Operating system and version: iPadOS 18.2 (22C152)
  •    Hardware acceleration: n/a
  •    What happens: In pixel persona if a pixel layer is inside a group the paint brush randomly doesn't show the strokes. When resizing the canvas afterwards the strokes show up. Moving the pixel layer out of the group the paint brush works again as expected.
  •    Recipe: Create a new doc with artboard. Switch to pixel persona, create pixel layer and enclose it in a group. Use the paint brush and sooner or later broken strokes should happen.
  •    Video and document: see attachment.
  •    Any unusual hardware etc.: nope
  •    Did it used to work before: not sure.
  •   and if so have you changed anything recently? No, exept recent iPadOS 18.2 update.

My posts focus on technical aspects and leave out most of social grease like „maybe“, „in my opinion“, „I might be wrong“ etc. just add copy/paste all these softeners from this signature to make reading more comfortable for you. Otherwise I’m a fine person which respects you and everyone and wants to be respected.
