Tony100 Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 I'm just starting out with Affinity. I've used Serif for many years. On the new Affinity the main question I have is where is stuff, e.g. the marquee tool, alter the contrast. When i go to help I don't get the information I need. I can't make the facility to open pdfs work. It just says this is not supported. Perhaps I just don't understand the instructions. Can you point me to a what each of the areas on the screen is called Quote
GarryP Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 Welcome to the forums @Tony100 The application Help should be able to answer some questions for you. With the application open, choose menu “Help → Affinity <application> Help” (where <application> is the application you are using, either Designer, Photo or Publisher). I would recommend reading the first few sections – Introduction, User Interface, and Get Started – before doing anything else. Also, it’s best to tell us which Affinity application you are using so we can give you answers which are tailored to what you can do. Alfred 1 Quote
