shiner25 Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 Okay so i have an image that i know the size in pixels of width and height are. I created a new canvas based on that sizing. Its white. Sitting there. Now i dropped in that image and im trying to align it. How do i do that. In Photoshop you would be able to sort of snap it in place or something. That way the image is aligned with the canvas as both are the same size but unless i position the image which is on its owner layer correct i will end up with a white line around this thing Any help? Where to click Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 Why are you creating a canvas the same size as the image, and adding the image to it? Why not just Open the image, which would be simpler and give you what you seem to want? If you really want to do it that way instead of the way @walt.farrell suggested, you can use the Move Tool with snapping enabled to snap it to the canvas edges. If you have snapping set to Snap to spread and Include spread mid point, just snap the Place tool to the center of the canvas before clicking, and the image will be positioned precisely.
