affinota Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 Hi, I have two text fields with text, I attach the same text style to both and get very strange behaviour - there is a part of the text which has smaller font size. It makes no sense for me. If I push the smaller text with enter key to the next field, the text arrives in the given text style in the next text field, but if I pull it back to the first field, it gets smaller. walt.farrell Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 We would need to see screenshots of the Affinity application, not a PDF file. Or have a sample Affinity document that has the problem. But one likely cause of what you describe is that you have used the Scaling handle to resize one of the Text Frames. That is the lower-right, detached handle, which is not used to simply resize the frame, but to resize it and scale its contents. In the current release of the applications (and since 2.5.5, if I remember correctly) that handle will have a blue fill if you've rescaled the frame, and you can reset the scaling by double-clicking it. affinota Posted December 16, 2024 Author Posted December 16, 2024 here it is. By the way, how can I save just some pages? Now I just deleted the pages before and after, but is there a better way to do it? 1 hour ago, walt.farrell said: But one likely cause of what you describe is that you have used the Scaling handle to resize one of the Text Frames. Ah, I remeber this evil thing! I had problems with that by some footnotes. I will try to reset, thanks! I suppose, that could be the solution. medienkritik.afpub Quote
