Mads Johansen Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 (edited) Hello I am translating a pdf file, as part of that work I imported the file into Publisher have have a bunch of Frame Text boxes with Calibri font. For visual identity reasons I need all Frame Text boxes to be a different font. Is there a way to select all Frame Text boxes and change the font? (yes, Find and Replace, select the top Formatting star -> Format -> Font format: Old font. Then bottom Formatting star -> Format -> Font format: New font Click Replace All) Is there another way to force all text to be one font (and 1 font size if needed)? Best regards Mads Johansen Edited December 15, 2024 by Mads Johansen Make the answer clear Quote
MikeTO Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 Hi @Mads Johansen and welcome to the forum. If the text is all in the same font, you can use the Find and Replace panel to search for the font and replace it with another font and font size without typing any text into the Find or Replace fields. Better yet, replace it with a paragraph style at the same time. Mads Johansen Posted December 15, 2024 Author Posted December 15, 2024 (edited) Is it this what you had in mind? (Edit: it worked. Amazing! I didn't know Find and Replace could do that) Edited December 15, 2024 by Mads Johansen Did the Replace and it worked MikeTO 1 Quote
DuncanL Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 If you create a paragraph style formatted as you want; then use that as the replace target, if you later change you mind about the formatting, you can just update the style and all text with that style will be updated automatically - no need to resort to find & replace.
