Bug file and font management crashes Designer 2

Hi,

I have to update the file link management on an idml document and also on another idml file update font management.
Each time I try to update thru the link or font manager it crashes Designer 2 app.

I need a quick solution because my client is waiting for a document. Otherwise I will have to come back to InDesign...

Perhaps I'm confused, but you've said you are working on an IDML file, but those files are only supported by Publisher, not Designer. Please clarify which applications you're using. It would also help to have screenshots, or a recording, to help understand what you're trying to do.

Hi Walt,

It's on Designer 2, I still have Adobe InDesign, so I did the same action but with Adobe InDesign to get this solved quickly for my client.
When I try to link the images and fonts to the document, I have no messages but only an info that Designer 2 crashed.
I am on Mac OS for info.

Thanks. I'm still confused, though, because the Affinity equivalent of InDesign is Publisher. And for Adobe, the equivalent of Designer is Illustrator.

And as far as I know, you cannot use IDML files with Designer. So I still don't understand your workflow, I'm afraid.
