Line tool bug?

When i draw a line using the pen tool, i can ONLY change the color of the line from within the line tool itself, and then the choosen color doesnt ”stick”, as soon as i change tool the color of the line goes back to white.. HOW can this be impossible?

Please can you do upload a screen recording as when I change colour using the colour control on the top context toolbar it works as expected in Designer and in Photo. Is is also helpful if you turn on "show touches" under Affinity settings so we can see what has gone wrong.

It seems to work sometimes, but mostly not. And why cant i change color on the normal color dial?

I apologize for the confusion. It seems like you’re transitioning from vector graphics using the pen tool to pixel graphics tools like the fill and erase brush. The context toolbar changes based on the tool you’re using, which might be causing you to believe it’s not working as expected.

It might be more convenient to keep the layers panel open so you can easily see which layer you’re adding vectors to or which pixel layers you’re attempting to fill or erase.
