Clogs Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 Just moved from V1 to V2. In V1 when I make an adjustment it shows up as an adjustment layer above the layer I want to make the adjustment to. In V2 the adjustment shows as an icon next to the icon of the layer I am adjusting. I know I can do "release adjustment" to create a separate layer but is this the only way? I would prefer to see the adjustment on a separate layer from the start. Quote
Pšenda Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 If you have a layer/object selected in the Layers panel, the selected Adjustment will only be applied to that selected layer. If you have no layers selected, the Adjustment will be placed on top of the layer stack. carl123 Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 In Edit > Settings >Assistant you can also change the default behaviour to always add the adjustment layer as a new layer (i.e. not nested) It's the 3rd option from the bottom Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
