how do I make a new default for the liquify persona tool ie, make the brush size and strength and grid the same as on last used? is this possible? would save a lot of time for me rather than going though the whole procedure again and again

I think the closest you can get to that is ythe save & load mesh features, but it isn't really a default.

I rarely use this persona so someone else may have a better answer for you.

Unfortunately, it should be noted that sticky settings, i.e. remembering the user's last choices, are not very often supported in Affinity applications 😞
