Hide baseline for individual text frames?

I have heading text that spans several lines of the baseline grid in my document. 

The issue is that the baseline for the heading text frame clashes with the document baseline and looks ugly. 

Is there a way view the document baseline but keep the baseline of the text frame hidden?

I think I just manually aligned the heading and turned off the basline for the heading
