Hi there

I download an update - not sure if it took or not as I am again seeing a update announcement.

Since this update files I created last week in V2 (which I bought when it came out) is stating that it is V1 - it was not.

Besides - In the past any old files opened with no problem in V2.

Now new files won't open??? Screen shots attached.

Recommendations?

Thank you!

The current release, as of yesterday morning, is 2.5.7. Since your screenshot shows 2.5.6, I would perform the update it's notifying you about.

Other users have reported an error like that, but I don't recall whether it's logged as an error yet. I'll try to find it, if no one else provides the info before I have a chance to.

Hi @Renée,

The 'Opening legacy document' prompt is symptomatic of a broken file header, resulting from a corrupted document (File type not supported), If you could provide us with a copy of the file and answer the questions in the FAQ below to the best of your knowledge we can confirm if it can be recovered.
