When I open a new file with Affinity Publisher 2.5.6 on MacOs 15.1, the file opens without a problem.  If I close that file and reopen (or open a different file) it opens with a white box that can't be selected.  If I quit the application and then reopen it, the file displays normally.  This happens with every file I open.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @generoche49 and welcome to the forums. Does the issue correct itself if you zoom in and out?

This sort of issue is usually a GPU issue. What is your monitor setup like?

Could you share a screenshot of your performance settings? Choose Affinity Publisher 2 > Settings > Performance.

Thanks so much for the quick response.

The problem seems to have temporarily healed itself, but I'm not confident it will stay healed.  The monitor setup is an Apple Studio Display as the primary and a Dell 1080p as the secondary.

The mac is a mini pro with 16 gigs of ram.  I don't think I changed anything about the defaults for the performance settings.

If the problem returns, try turning off Hardware Acceleration and setting Display to OpenGL. These options speed up Affinity but if you have unexplained graphics glitches or certain crashes, it's best to turn them off. I have them turned off.

Good luck
