Phil Jackson Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 I print some images on a regular basis (greetings cards) and have a set of printer properties for this. In the Print dialogue box in Affinity Photo 2, I set the other parameters and then save these as a profile for my printer, but it does not save the printer properties within the profile. Is there something I am missing to achieve this, or is it not possible to save the printer properties within the printer profile? I am using a Canon TS6052 printer, Affinity Photo2 and Windows 11. All software up to date. Thank you. Quote
Staff NathanC Posted January 20 Staff Posted January 20 Hi @Phil Jackson, I've not been able to replicate this so far, I've set a random assortment of print settings in the dialog, and used 'Save as' to save it out to a .profile and then restarted the app. Upon re-entering the print dialog and going to 'Browse' and re-loading the .profile file and selecting it from the dropdown it recalls all the saved settings, as expected. Could you try creating the profile again from scratch, and if it still doesn't work provide a screen recording of the process? Thanks Quote
Phil Jackson Posted January 20 Author Posted January 20 Hi NathanC After further investigation, I discovered why I had not achieved what I wanted, because I had not ticked the box that says 'Always print with current settings' in Printer Properties. Thus, every time I start a new printing session, the printer properties will have reverted to the default position. My apologies for not having closed this topic. Quote
