Hi Affinity,

Had some frustration trying to resize some initials for a friend today. Pic attached. Tried to do it in draw and pixel personas and the problem was still the same. The bigger I tried to resize the worse the problem got.

Thanks

I'm not seeing a resizing problem here in Affinity Designer on Windows beta. From your other recent posts, I presume you're using the same program.

Thanks Alfred. I just repeated the error (pic attached), but strangley, when I save and re-open the document the image is enlarged as I want it to be ... very odd. Yes, I'm using the windows beta. I suspect it may be a resolution problem as I have one screen at 3840 x 2160 and another at 1920 x 1080

Hi Martigny

I'm also not getting the issue. This does seems like simple re-draw though. If you force a refresh by changing the zoom slightly does it show as expected?

Also would you be able to provide your system/graphics specs at all to see if this is something that might be causing it?

Cheers

Hi Chris,

The zoom refresh does fix it as does closing and re-opening the document. I can't get it to repeat the error this morning :)

I'm using nvidia gtx 960m 4k uhd 2gb ram video (Windows 10 PRO)

Thanks for your reply.

Hi Mark,

Thanks for replying.

No I didn't move the image. I was working on the lower resolution screen - 1920 x 1080 (because it's larger). It's at 125% zoom. It seems to work okay at the moment and I'm just about to download the new beta.

Hi Mark,

I just tried the program again before I install the update. The program opens on my higher resolution screen and I move it over. I don't open the document until it's on the other screen. The problem occured again just now. If I move the screen back to the other monitor it doesn't update. Image attached.

I have this problem when copying a group on a document to cut and paste into another, if I then scale small remain some lines large. Even the version 1.5.0.6.

What's the zoom of your other monitor?
