Selection Tools + Modifiers?

As I am exploring various tools in AP (I am still new), I found out that if I use the Flood Select Tool, I can use CTRL to add to the selection, and ALT to remove from the selection. When using the Marquee tools (Rectangle/Ellipse/etc.) I can use ALT to remove but is there a way to ADD to the selection with a modifier? I know I can use the icons on top, but wondering about using a keyboard modifier.

On macOS, we can hold Ctrl to add to a marquee and Option to subtract. I went to look at the Help page to find out what the shortcuts were for Windows and was surprised to find that there isn't a documented shortcut to add to a marquee selection on Windows. Perhaps somebody else knows the answer.

* Open the Help page, click on the page, hold Alt/Option and press left/right arrow to toggle between the Mac and Windows views to see the documented shortcuts

I found out that CTRL-ATL will ADD a selection.

Too bad it is not consistent with the Flood Select tool.
