Fort some reason best known to ... who knows ... the last two software and driver updates I have done have deleted the Desktop Shortcut Icons for both my installs of Publisher and Photo ... I have searched in all the places I could think of and cannot find where they are ...

The last time I had to do a complete delete and complete reinstall to get them back ... which I would rather not have to do again.

So, where are the icons stored?

Thanks in advance,

Phil McGregor

Sadly, useless.

I went to the AppsFolder (using File Explorer, a step your post left out and was useless until I did) and Affinity Photo and Publisher ARE listed ... with Blank Icons. The only two of the many many program Icons in that Folder which are blank!

So, where are the Icons actually stored?

Thanks in Advance

Actually, there was a hint in another post I found elsewhere online ... I needed to delete the two programs which were installed from MSIX and download and install from the MSIX.exe files ... which has worked.
