kngs Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Hello, who can help me? I am creating various designs for clothing transfers in Designer. I have loaded all the logos in CMYK and as EPS files, and everything looks good. However, something goes wrong during export for the printer, who tells me that the colors are not correct. What should I set when saving/exporting the file for the printer? He would like a correct EPS file, and I want that too. Thank you in advance for your help. Quote
Hangman Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Hi @kngs and welcome to the forums, Can you upload a sample Affinity Designer file containing one of the designs so we can take a look... kngs Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 The file is too large to send, but these are the export settings I am using. As a result, the colors are different from those in the original file for the printer. Quote

Could you perhaps save just a single design in a new Designer file and upload that... We really need to understand how the colours are set up in the file itself. I don't think there is anything wrong with your export settings so that suggests a potential issue with the file itself but we'd need to see something physical to determine whether that is the case... kngs Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 I have sent the smallest file, and hopefully, you can see something. I don't understand how the colors can look different. I need to do this more often and don't want to rely on other software; I want to work in Designer because I find it such a beautiful program. 1X_VEL_2_TURTLEMEDIA_SILVERVOX.eps Quote
Hangman Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Thanks for the file... There's nothing wrong with the colours used in the file... What exactly does the printer mean when he says "The Colours are incorrect", that is a bit vague, can you elaborate on what he means by that with an example... One thing you may want to change is the graduated circle behind the fox which is broken into a series of shapes rather than appearing as a single graduated circle... kngs Posted December 5, 2024 Author Posted December 5, 2024 Glad to hear that, and I will continue to discuss this with them. The round logo was provided by someone from the band. I didn't create it myself. But I understand what you mean. For me, it's important that I can process the logos I receive for transfers. Thank you for your help. Quote
Hangman Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 No problem, let us know what you find out once you've had a chance to discuss it with the printer and then hopefully we can figure out where the issue lies... kngs 1 Quote Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 MacBook Pro M3 Max, 36 GB Unified Memory, macOS Sonoma 14.6.1, Magic Mouse HP ENVY x360, 8 GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 2500U, Windows 10 Home, Logitech Mouse
