Hello,

I created a post describing a bug I experienced recently - please find the link, below.

I'm reaching out to Affinity Support to try to get some help to recover the file. Also, I'm eager to learn if/when you are planning to fix the bug?

Please continue the discussion in that other topic, where other users are trying to help you. Creating a second topic will not get you any faster response, and will only confuse attempts to help by splitting the discussion into pieces.

I am a forum user, like you and many of the other helpful users here. But I appear to have been using the forum for far longer than you, which means I may have a better understanding of how this set of forums works, and the best way to use them in order to get help. If you look around, you will find similar suggestions from the Serif staff, too. Breaking the discussion into multiple threads seldom leads to a quicker solution, and usually just wastes time.

Splitting the discussion of a single topic across multiple threads is every bit as unhelpful as raising multiple issues in a single thread! Both should be avoided wherever possible, and I can’t immediately think of a scenario where it wouldn’t be possible.

So, how do I get in touch directly with Serif to get support from them? I appreciate help from fellow users of the product, but I'd like to get a response directly from the vendor.
