Otto Manuel Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 Designer v2: Can I name multiple elements with the same name at once? For example, suppose I Shift > Select a bunch of bird figures labeled "Curve" in the Layers display and then name them all "Birds" with one text input. Then all my birds would be labeled "Birds", and I could stay organized more efficiently. That would be a time saver. Is it possible? Quote
Pšenda Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 Unfortunately, the Layer\Rename Layer command does not respect the fact that several layers/objects were selected before executing the command, and therefore the user probably wants to rename several objects at the same time. I would use grouping the selected layers into the Birds Group.
