Hi. I've searched thoroughly on how to do this but couldn't find any information. I dropped an image into my Affinity Photo document by dragging it and that created an image layer. Then I went to Layers > Duplicate Linked to create a copy of this layer. I have setup the two image layers how I want (the girl in pink shirt).

Now I want to replace this image with another one making sure they stay in the same place and size but I can't figure it out.

Welcome to the forums @VipulK

I don’t think Duplicate Linked works the way you think it does.

If you search the application Help for duplicate linked , and click the link to Linking, you will find information about that functionality.

You might like to think about using Symbols in Designer instead.

Linked layers are just like symbols in designer.

Are they? That’s not my experience, but I don’t use linked layers.

Can you record and share a video showing how to do what the OP is asking for using linked layers?

Not in the true sense of the word but the masterpage object/symbols and linked layers share a commonality.
I just tried what the OP wanted and it didn't work with linked layers which I also don't use but find it strange as the fill parameters are there to be linked??
For symbols it works in designer.
One could also place a linked image and replace it in the resource manager which are in all three programs.

I think the Fill Parameters for linked layers are the Fill of the layer rather than the image; change the Fill of one and Fill of the other changes but replace the image in one and the other image doesn’t change.

I think the ‘linking’ is for the formatting rather than the contents.
