Just installed the new beta of Affinity Photo - version 2.6.2900.
I left the inference set to CPU+GPU. However, when I go to object selection, the CPU is taking 100%, but the GPU seems not to be used at all.

It is Windows 11 fully updated, Nvidia RTX 4070 Super, latest studio driver.

The preprocessing takes about 15-20 seconds. This is basically unusable.

Any hints?

Same here but I'm not sure of the requirements (if any) that the GPU needs to have to be able to be used by the Machine Leaning modules

If may be best if Affinity could clarify that at some point just in case someone wants to install a new GPU card in order to speed up their use of those modules

This is currently "by design" while Microsoft are looking at something for us regarding the performance of DirectML. Effectively there is currently no difference between the settings "CPU Only" and "CPU+GPU" on Windows, but we hope that the DirectML will perform better shortly and be re-enabled, producing a marked improvement in performance for anyone using CPU+GPU, without you changing the setting. Until then, there is nothing to change or worry about but thank you for checking.
