rabb1t Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 (edited) I think I've found a bug after the recent 2.5.6 update for Publisher. I'm working on some supplements for Daggerheart and I have 2 different files I've been working with. So far, since I started on the first one back in August, I've always "Export..." to .pdf and it's worked fine. I think a day or two I updated to 2.5.6, but I don't work on the files every day, nor do I try to export them when I do make some changes. Today, however, it seems neither can export to .pdf. I get an error message which stops the export. No screenshot seems helpful as the error box literally just says "an error occurred while exporting to" and no further information. I guess you can do the workaround of "Print" and send it to a pdf. That effectively looks the same. But I don't understand why the nicer more controlled export version is failing while print works. MikeTO Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Hi @rabb1t This is a known issue with the 2.5.6 update. You can work around it bey selecting Embed Profile in the Export dialog. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/search/&tags=AF-5175 rabb1t 1 Quote Download a free PDF manual for Affinity Publisher 2.6 Download a quick reference chart for Affinity's Special Characters Affinity 2.6 for macOS Sequoia 15.3, MacBook Pro (M4 Pro) and iPad Air (M2)

rabb1t Posted December 1, 2024 Author Posted December 1, 2024 Odd. I did a search for not being able to print and got no results, heh. Maybe Google was feeling selfish the other day? Quote
