Fontgrootte en regelafstand in Affinity Publisher

Wanneer je een lettertype van grootte verandert, is het dan zo dat de regelafstand (interlinie) automatisch mee verandert in Affinity Publisher? Of bestaan hier speciale instellingen of typografische regels voor?

Voor een nieuw te schrijven boek maak ik gebruik van het corps Adobe Hebrew Regular met corps grootte 12,5 pt. 12 pt vond ik net iets te klein. Ik zag echter dat de interlinie hierbij niet gewijzigd werd.

Kan iemand mij zeggen of je de interlinie altijd moet aanpassen wanneer je de corpsgrootte wijzigt? misschien dat iemand een verwijzing op het internet weet waar dieper op deze materie wordt ingegaan.

Affinity offers a flexible range of options for paragraph leading in its Paragraph Panel and Context Toolbar. Some auto-change with font size others don't.

For an "internet reference" the Affinity help can be sufficient while an internet search, e.g. for "leading typography", will give you tons of results with varying depths to choose from according to your current knowledge. For a general understanding of the range of leading options, a specific application is not necessarily relevant since typographical leading works quite the same and apps differ in their visual interface only.

I always use Exactly and set the leading myself. I take into consideration the look* of a page of type, and also whether or not I am adding pages to the publication with a 12.5 point leading instead of a 12 point leading. In my opinion the most important criteria is the page's legibility. We don't want people getting a headache from reading.

Ik gebruik altijd Exact en stel zelf de voorloop in. Ik houd rekening met de uitstraling* van een pagina met letters, en ook met het feit of ik pagina's aan de publicatie toevoeg met een 12,5 punts voorloop in plaats van een 12 punts voorloop.
