Hello Affinity Team,

First of all, thank you for the amazing work you do with Affinity V2.

I’d like to suggest a new feature that would greatly benefit users, especially those who work on complex layouts: the ability to move pages freely within the document, similar to the functionality of the Page Tool in Adobe InDesign.

Currently, in Affinity Publisher, pages are arranged linearly in the Pages panel. While this works well for many projects, there are situations where being able to separate, reposition, or align pages visually—outside the sequential flow—would be extremely helpful. For instance:

- Aligning pages of different sizes next to each other for easier design reference.

- Temporarily detaching pages to work on them independently without altering the main order.

- Visually organizing a complex document layout with more flexibility.

- Separating pages by a specific distance to manage spacing effectively when designing layouts for exhibitions.

For us, this tool is a must. It would significantly enhance the workflow for users who create publications like panel displays, or custom projects with varying page sizes and alignments.

Thank you for considering this suggestion. I believe many users would appreciate this added functionality, and it would further solidify Affinity Publisher as a top choice for professional design work.

I add a screenshot, to visually clarify what I mean. Essential, for example, for exhibition designers. Unfortunately, we cannot rely on Publisher as a substitute.
