Wands1101 Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 I’ve been using the Affinity Suite for the past year without any issues, but over the last few days, Affinity Designer has stopped opening due to a "lack of application memory" error. Affinity Designer is consuming around 45GB of memory (screenshot attached). Both Affinity Photo and Publisher are working just fine. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but that didn’t resolve the issue. I see some users had similar problems as of last year but I did not see any viable solutions. I am new to posting forums, so sorry if it's all wrong. I am a real newbie! Please help. Thank you. I’m using a MacBook Air M1 with 8GB of RAM, running Sequoia 15.1.1 Quote

Staff Lee D Posted January 16 Staff Posted January 16 @Wands1101 What is your workflow within the app when this occurs and is it with a particular file or any? Quote
Wands1101 Posted January 20 Author Posted January 20 Sorry for the late reply. I worked out how to fix it via a another thread on here. Thank you! Quote
