Hi Everybody,

At my company, i regularly receive photoshop files with mockups. These are created by using artboards for each of the screens inside the app. These artboards also cut-off any background or other content that is larger than the screen and prevents them from covering other screens.

Now when I import the PSD file info affinity Photo it opens it correctly, it also creates a layer for each of the screens/artboards. There is just one issue, it doesn't import the artboard and doesnt mask them. This causes the background and other elements of the topmost screen to overflow over all other screens. I need to toggle layers to view certain screens, and even then I still can't see where the edges of each of the artboards/screens are.

Is there a way to correctly import these files and keep the artboards? Or can I perhaps recover the artboards and use them to mask each of the layers? Maybe i can change the photoshop export? Or export the PSD file to a completely different file type? Do you guys have any experience with the same issue and if so, what solutions would you recommend? If possible, I strongly prefer any solutions that prevent me from asking the Photoshop designer to pre-cut all the screens before sharing it to me.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Yes, its enabled.

Good to know that when I import the file, I also get a popup that some features are not supported. I can't see anything that could be related to the artboards, but the list doesn't show all errors.
