Cannot create new files or open any .afphoto files in Affinity Designer after updating to Sequoia 15.1.1

Hey everyone, Affinity Designer 2.5 was working fine yesterday until I updated to Sequoia 15.1.1. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Are you still experiencing problems loading documents following the Sequoia update? If so I would recommend following the guidance in the FAQ linked below to disable the Affinity iCloud drive folder and then try again.

Hello! I am still facing the same issue, I followed the thread advice of removing any cloud storage providers from affinity designer but I still cannot create or open .afdesign files.

For anyone running into this issue on a Macbook Pro Intel i7 with an AMD Radeon Pro 5500M GPU. You have to enable the option to only use the integrated GPU. Hope this helps someone. Thread closed.
