Ok. You seriously need to face this problem!

I am having the very same problem copying images (pixel layer) from a file to another. After the copy command, AD crashes. Then I had an insight: I just disabled the Windows clipboard and suddenly AD has started to work normally and without crashes after copy.

But I really need the Windows clipboard function! How can I use both Windows clipboard and AD

When I tried to copy the curve from your AFDESIGN file, Designer crashed for me too – on multiple attempts.

I don’t know why it crashed but the curve seems to have a very large number of nodes.

A large number of nodes shouldn’t be a problem though, so maybe the curve was ‘corrupted’ in some way when it was imported from your DWG file.

If you can supply the original DWG then a developer might be able to figure out if the problem is with the original file or not.

As for copying Pixel layers from one document to another, I’ve never had a crash when doing that.

If you can supply a document with which the crash can be replicated then that might help.

I’m not sure what you mean by that. Can you tell us what you did?

I also tought about some problem in the curve itselft, however, after disabled the Windows clipboard, suddenly the problem has resolved, both for the curve and the pixel layers. I can copy and paste really fast, while before I had to wait seconds or, sometimes, minutes.
Speaking about Windows clipboard, I mean this feature:

That page talks about sharing the clipboard across devices, whereas the settings page it points to gives a few options, neither of which lets you “disable the Windows clipboard”.

Can you be specific about what you did?

I'm sorry, my Windows GUI is in Italian. However, i simply disabled "Clipboard History". The problem is that it's an important feature I need.

The thread I gave a link to has been given an official tag, which can be seen under the thread title.

When a thread has been given an official tag it means that Serif have logged it in their system to, at least, be considered for further work.

When something changes in regard to the situation as described in the thread, the Affinity Info Bot will make a posting in the thread explaining what has happened and what can be done about it (often simply upgrading to the latest version).

If the Affinity Info Bot has not created a post which says that the issue has been worked on, or fixed, you can assume that the situation remains as it was, from a user perspective.

If you want to know when a situation mentioned in an officially-tagged thread has changed, all you need to do is follow that thread and you will get a notification if/when this happens.

You can follow a thread by going to the top of any page of that thread and pressing the “Follow” button at the right of the thread header.
