Hi there,

I have some jpeg images I've created and want to basically then create multiple different sizes for that image in say, inches such as

-5*7 inches

-8*10 inches

-9*12 inches etc

So I have tried used export persona.  When I try and sizes within the export slices, despite me checking the original document size I created as 36X24 inches, I then added the jpeg photo in that document, it exports in pixels as tiny sizes - so it's takes 20W as 20 pixels rather than say 20inches width.  Is this because it's a jpeg and natively in pixels and there's no way around this despite me creating a document in inches originally?

Is there a better way to do this?  I basically want to speed up my workflow and feel this is the tool should be the way forward.  I'm sure this is a relative newbie question I did watch a lot of videos on YouTube and scan the forum but couldn't see.

Thanks for any advice / help you're able to offer :)

First setup your cropping frames in Export Persona

8x10
Select the layer and click Create Slice
In the Transform Panel width type *8/10
Now you have a slice with the desired aspect ratio
Assuming you want to print at 300dpi you need an image 3000px high
In the slices panel type 3000h

9x12
Create Slice only works once per layer so create anothe slice with the slice tool
In the Transform Panel width type *9/12
In the slices panel type 3600h

5x7
Create another slice with the slice tool
In the Transform Panel width type *5/7
In the slices panel type 2100h

David - thank you so much that is so very helpful.

I just want to express my sincerest gratitude that you have been so clear to help me do this - thank you!  It's people like you that make the internet a great place where today it's easy to be cynical and dismiss the internet as a challenging place of people arguing you and others like you on this forum are awesome - thank you 🤩

Many, many thanks
